Tyren

Tyren, Oslo! Another great burger experience! Today I went to have a burger at Tyren in Oslo. They have a combination of pizza and burgers on the meny, which I always find kind of weird. However, this did not let the quality of the burger down. I had the smashburger which was served with bacon, cheddar and tomatos. The meat is from the local butcher, Strøm-Larsen, and you taste this is high quality meat. You got two patties and they were actually perfectly cooked (medium). Taking into account this is a smash burger, I am impressed. They also did a good job to find the right balance between sauce and the rest of the ingredients. The buns were fresh, crispy and warm. No soggy buns here. The fries were crispy and warm. The interior was a mix between rocked and cozy, with warm lights. Cool location in middle of Torshov.
